Ann Gardner
My creative journey started at the kitchen table, with Play-doh and Colorforms in hand and cookies baking in the oven. My parents were endlessly creative (they even made their own Christmas cards at that table), and they passed that spark right along to me. From crayons and colored pencils to ink and paint, I was always making something with my hands.
Eventually, all that creative energy found its way into graphic design. Whether it’s for print or digital, my work is shaped by a love of color, texture, and the curiosity of exploring new things. My style is always evolving, but it usually carries a little bit of that hands-on, kitchen-table magic.
When I found surface design, I was instantly hooked. There’s something satisfying about the challenge of getting a repeat just right, and I love stretching both my imagination and my technical skills to see how a design can transform across different products.
Oh, and when I'm not designing, you might find me baking in the kitchen (I'm also a classically trained pastry chef). For me, creativity has always had a seat at the table.
